Liquid Diet Recipes


Ingredients
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Orange Juice
  • 1/4 Carrot (sliced)
  • 1 fresh Egg
Preparations
  • In a blender, put the orange juice, carrots and egg. Blend until the contents are smooth.
  • Serve immediately.
Cabbage Soup
Ingredients
  • 1 small Cabbage (chopped or shredded)
  • 2 small Green Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 Black Peppers
  • 2 Green Peppers (stem and seeds removed)
  • 2 small Onions (chopped)
  • 4 Carrots (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • Any fresh Herbs (chopped)
  • 5 stalks Celery
  • 1/2 cup Beans (sliced)
  • 6 glasses Water
Preparation
  • In a pan, sauté the tomatoes for 5 minutes and then add the cabbage, carrots, onions and beans. Stir fry the vegetables.
  • Now add the rest of the ingredients and continue stirring. Pour the water to the vegetable mixture and leave it for an hour to boil. Add salt when it is boiling.
  • You can either strain the mixture and serve the clear soup or serve the soup with the vegetables in it.
Fruit Smoothie
Ingredients
  • 2 cup Vanilla Yogurt
  • 2 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 cup Strawberries (hulled)
  • 1/4 cup Wheat Germ
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Preparation
  • Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Pour in tall glasses and serve.
Fruits And Bran Milk
Ingredients
  • 1/2 Apple
  • 1/2 Orange
  • 1/4 cup Bran Flakes
  • 1/4 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Wheat Germs
Preparation
  • Cut all the fruits into small chunks and put them in a blender. Blend until the fruits chunks are crushed.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into tall glasses and serve.
Classic Chicken Soup
Ingredients
  • 1/2 Chicken Breast
  • 1 medium sized Potato
  • 1 cup Carrot
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • Salt and Pepper
Preparation
  • Cook the chicken breast, potatoes and carrots until they are tender. Debone and cut the chicken breast into small chunks. Likewise, using a spoon, lightly mash the potatoes and carrots.
  • Place the chicken pieces and the potatoes and carrots in a blender. Pour in the chicken broth and then blend them thoroughly.
  • Place the blended mixture in a pan and adjust the density of the soup with water.
  • Season with salt and pepper and then boil for 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
